Memory
There are so many thoughts from the past,
Some clear as day,
Others faded away,
Although, I know they have forever passed.
Once upon a time, love was so pure,
Filled with affection and kindness to show,
But now, just like the wind blows,
It is all gone, I’m sure.
Facing the ups and downs,
Memories of pain and suffering,
Out of touch, it is hovering
Just like an echo, those distant sounds.
A reminder of the tears we shed alone.
With no one to guide you,
No one knows what you’ve gone through,
The past only we have known.
Some memories of our childhood days,
With innocent eyes gazing around,
How beautiful does that sound?
Parents were the stars, we were the rays.
Now, with an experience of a lifetime,
I am ready to overcome any challenge my way,
Until the very end, until I wilt away,
Until, the very end, until the right time.
