One of my memorable days was my first-ever experience hiking with the school, grade 3 teachers, and students. We thought the hike was going to be held on the 17th of Bhadra 2080, as per the school calendar. Due to the rainy season, it was cancelled. Since I had already bought a pair of hiking shoes, I was quite disappointed to hear it. Surprisingly, our teacher announced that we were going to hike ‘Jagdol to Tareveer’ on May 19, 2080, Friday. When I heard about the news, I was super excited.For the hike, I prepared Mo-mos, chocolate milk, vanilla milk, pizza biscuits, oranges, glucose water, dairy milk, and Kit-Kat. We went to Jagdol by bus and started our hike at 11 a.m. The hiking route was full of natural beauty, such as different types of birds, various types of plants, and a river stream with the clearest water I have ever seen. We walked very slowly, enjoying everything that came along the way, except for some people throwing trash in nature. We took a lot of photos. After two hours of walking, we ate our snacks. I shared my snacks with my friends. My teachers and friends were telling me not to touch the water. I like natural water, so I could not help it. I did not listen to them anyway, and I ended up getting my leg wet. I would like to apologise to my teachers for not listening to them. I had a lot of fun on my first hike with my friends and teachers. Thank you, Deerwalk Sifal School, for making one of my dreams come true.
