I will always cherish the memory of my ninth birthday party. All of my close cousins and friends were invited to my birthday party. I have always attended my friend’s birthday party. And before going to every birthday party, my parents used to say that we will not be celebrating my birthday party.

But when my birthday was near I asked my mom, “Can we do my birthday party at our house? By calling only five people for the party.” My mom said, “Well there are a lot of good friends of yours which is obviously more than five, not even five, maybe ten!” And I agreed with the disappointment, which made my mother feel really bad and she decided to organize a party for me. With the help of my lovely Dheeraj Uncle, we planned to organize a small party in his friend’s restaurant. It was happening in real life, I was very excited. The party was hosted in Double Decker Lounge at Durbar Marg. I invited my friends Ashwith, Aajanya, Anaya, Swopnil, Simrik, Chewang, Aashna, Bidhata, Medhanshi, Krishika, Aayuja, Reha, Prasoya and Tejaswi. And from my relatives grandfather, grandmother, sister, brother, uncle, aunt, etc.

We had a lot of fun. We played, ate, danced, sang, etc. First we had popcorn and then mo-mo, pizza, french fries, chicken popcorn, veg pakoda, etc. We also hosted a little program of talent shows. Some of my friends danced, some sang, and some even did a quiz. We also did a gift opening session which was a lot of fun. The gifts that I got were Lego Technic, Toy Buggy, Squishy Pistol handmade, football, Cup, Gun set, clothes etc. After that we clicked some pictures in different poses, and cut a cake. When dinner was ready, we all sat together to eat. We had Chicken Biryani but some of my friends did not like it. I enjoyed it till my tummy was full. Since I was very hungry, I forgot to ask my friends if they had eaten properly or not. We also had ice cream after dinner and continued playing. Our party ended at 6 PM and every one returned home with their parents with a return gift which included disco pencil, creative pencil holder and a stamp.
