Peace—we all want it, don’t we?

Yet, we are the ones disrupting it.

It has no enemies;

Truthfully, nobody does.

A man is born free,

Yet he is chained throughout his life.

In a desperate need to reclaim that freedom,

We start wars and destroy the very peace we seek.

What, exactly, is peace?

A world without war?

A world free of slavery and disputes?

A world free from stress?

Perhaps nobody truly knows the full meaning of peace,

As no one has ever felt it completely.

We desire peace,

But nobody ever truly fights for it.
