Teej is one of the biggest festivals. Teej is mainly celebrated by women in Nepal. In this festival, we worship Lord Shiva. On this day, women fast. They don’t even drink a single drop of water. They worship for the long life of their husbands. Likewise, unmarried women worship to have a good life partner/husband. They go to Shiva temple. They enjoy dancing and singing. At midnight before the day of Teej, they eat delicious food “Dar”. They wear red and green clothes with beautiful ornaments.
