Martyrs are those people who sacrifice their lives for the benefit of their country.Shukra Raj Shastri is one of the Martyrs of Nepal who sacrificed his life to free our country from Ranas. He was born in Kathmandu in 1950 B.S. Though he was from Newar family, he studied Sanskrit and got the degree of a Shastri. He was a writer. He wrote many books.Dharma Bhakta Mathema is also one of the martyrs. He was born in 1965 B.S. He also worked hard for the freedom of our country.Gangalal Shrestha is another martyr. He also fought hard to introduce democracy in Nepal. He was born in 1975 B.S.Dashrath Chand Thakur saw how Indians were trying to free themselves from British rule. He fought hard for his own country. He was a Rajput. He was born in Baitadi in 1960 B.S.
