Winter is the coldest season among the other seasons. It starts in December and ends in March. Winter has the shortest day, longest night and lowest temperature than all other seasons. Winter comes when the earth tilts away from the sun. In many places, this season is not good for trees and plants because of enormous snow. The snow covers all trees and plants which stops them from growing.In many places there is a formation of thick fog. As winter comes, we all wear our jackets and sweaters. People eat a lot of warm food and soups. Many festivals like Christmas, Maghe Sankranti, Saraswati puja etc fall during winter. This is a wonderful season with a lot of joy and excitement.
