An unlucky foreigner

Share:

A foreigner who lives away from his home

Remembers a blue sky and brown soil

Of his country

And remembers his small beautiful house

And the flowers planted in the garden.

A foreigner sometimes thinks to go back to his country

But unfortunately, there is no jobs available in his motherland

Sometimes, he gets depressed, and tries to jump from the building

But, his mind says “No, I should find food for my family.”

A foreigner remembers,

The sister put seven coloured tikas on his forehead.

The festivals where he earned extra money by playing cards.

The festival, where he got blessings from elders

But,

These are only as a remembrance for the foreigner.

He does not have any sisters, friends or elderly people in his company.

He thinks about getting back to his motherland.

But,

What could he do?

His country is suffering from poverty and unemployment.

His country is suffering from huge corruption and politics.

What could the foreigner do?

In the slightly rising temperature.

If he comes back to his country,

How could he buy a bag of medicines for his mother?

Or himself too.

When feels asleep, he always remembers his friends

Flying in the blue sky and returning in a casket.

He thinks sometimes, “ What if I face the same situation.

Whom should the foreigner tell his pain to?

But,

The foreigners have still not given up.

Because he will be working hard

And building his country.

And getting medicine for her sick mother.
