River

River, river, oh mighty river!
You flow up and down
From the hill to the ground
You give us water to drink
Light and power ; your boon
You irrigate field and paddy
You make nature so beautiful.
Gandaki, Koshi, Bagmati
Karnali and many more,
My heart admires you from the core
River, river, oh mighty river!
