Mangoes
Mangoes are fleshy stone fruits belonging to the drupe family. These are also called the “King of fruits”. We get them in the summer season. These are one of the most widely consumed fruits in the world. They are sweet and juicy. Mangoes are green or yellow in colour. We can have mangoes for breakfast, lunch or mid-day. There are 100 varieties of mangoes. They are in various ranges of colour, size and shape. People eat ripe mangoes or prepare pickles from raw mangoes. Mangoes have many health benefits. We get potassium and minerals from mangoes, they are rich in vitamin A, C and D. Mangoes are tasty fruits and I love them very much.
