Once there was a girl named Avery. She loved doing everything. She had a friend named Abisha. They had been best friends since Grade Four. Avery and Abisha loved singing.

In Grade Seven, Avery finally gathered the courage to sing in front of the whole grade, but she got bullied by her former friend named Madersion. Avery sang in front of everyone, and the whole class clapped, but Madersion didn’t. After a few seconds, Madersion got jealous of Avery and booed her. Avery became very emotional.

After a few days, Madersion’s friend Kat told Avery something shocking. Apparently, Madersion had told Kat that Avery was fat, that she sang like a frog, and that everyone clapped for her singing out of pity. Hearing this, Avery became demotivated and heartbroken. Her friend Abisha consoled her.

Avery had had enough of Madersion. With a heavy heart, she shared with Abisha that Madersion was body-shaming her. Abisha then shared this with others in the class who disliked Madersion. Everyone agreed that body-shaming and bullying Avery was unacceptable. They complained about the issue to the principal.

The principal took the matter very seriously and decided to suspend Madersion from school. The moral of the story matches the proverb that we should always think before we speak about other people.
