I have been waiting on these

Shelves for years,

Watching everyone

Who walk in and out.

I wonder,

When you would find me.

I miss the way we’d play,

I miss the way you’d call my name.

But…. But now,

You’re grown up,

Like the rest of others.

While I stay here sitting on

The toy store’s shelves.

Always wondering,

When will you come back????
