The Great Wall of China
The Great Wall of China was built across the historical borders of ancient Chinese states which lie towards the North. It was built with a purpose of protecting the territory by the old emperors in the ancient time. It is said to have been built before the Ming dynasty. Though it has been maintained by rulers after the construction, the best known sections of the wall were built during the Ming dynasty.Looking from far, it can be seen expanding from plains to hills in a twisted and curved way. Some people term the wall to symbolise the Chinese dragon. The size of the wall, the materials used for the construction and the symbolism are the best features of The Great Wall of China.
