Psycho killers: Nature or Nurture?
Are you sure that you know enough about our world? Are you sure you know all the things about this world? Are there mysteries still lying in front of us which our eyes can’t see? Are there things that are hidden from us? Do you have enough knowledge of the dark secrets kept away from you? All these questions are echoing but as there are questions, there are also answers that speak to the questions. The king of demons, Lucifer also used to be an angel. Even the villain was the hero in his story; in his thought, the villain was doing what was right to him. Not everyone is right in our thinking, but in their thoughts, they are right. No matter how good and fantastic our life is right now, one day our dead body will either be in a coffin or it will be burning and not even our ashes will remain. No matter how healthy you are right now, nobody knows if tomorrow when you wake up, you will have cancer or not. No matter how much you love your family, one day you will have to do the death rituals of your mother. No matter how much money you have, you can't revive the dead.
Even though you might be the nicest person, there will always be someone looking forward to your grave. Nobody knows if there is a serial killer waiting to kill you tomorrow. The undying truth of this world is that nobody can escape death. Nobody can; not you, not me, not him, no one can escape death. Nobody knows if you will have a heart attack or not. Even doctors who spend their life saving others will die one day but a murder as a form of death isn't just right. There are two ways you can kill: one nature, the other killer. When there is a doctor saving people, there will also be a killer hiding in the shadows. People like John Wayne Gacy will always be there. If you don't know who John Wayne Gacy is, then he is a psycho killer who killed 33 people. Why do people kill each other? Today let’s try to answer this question: What makes a person a murderer, is it nature or nurture or other?
As we have already talked about John Wayne Gacy, let’s see his case first. He was a very normal boy in his childhood, he had a very good relationship with his mother but he and his father, not so much. His father used to physically assault his whole family after he came back drunk. John, who used to get the most of this beating never thought ill of his father and in fourth grade, he was admitted in a hospital for a year because of heart problems, yet all his father told him was that he needs to stop faking it. Then as he grew older, he worked at multiple places and then he was at KFC as a manager, but as he assaulted a 16-year-old boy, he was taken to custody and then he was kicked from the KFC and also had been imprisoned. Then he resulted in being a psycho killer and assaulted young men and killed them to hide the evidence. He used to put make-up on as a clown and he used to promise that he would show cool magic tricks and obviously, the teenagers were attracted to the funny figure of a clown. However, how to tell them that this clown had killed other men too and then one by one, he killed 33 teen boys. In this case, John Wayne Gacy was a psycho killer because of his Nature but his Nurture played a big role in this.
