Tourism in Nepal

A tourist is a person who visits different places or countries for entertainment and to explore places. Tourism is the activity of going to different places to explore. People travel to different places for enjoyment, entertainment and relaxation.

Tourism is one of the important economic factors of Nepal. There are a lot of famous places in Nepal. There are a lot of temples, cultures, mountains, rivers, etc. here which attract many tourists. People can come to do many adventurous activities such as trekking, mountain biking, bungee jumping and many more. There are many temples such as Pasupatinath, Muktinath, etc. and other famous places like Pokhara, Lumbini, Mustang, Everest base camp, Chitwan National park and many more. It creates employment opportunities by establishing different hotels, restaurants, transportation, and guiding services.

Tourism helps promote Nepal’s culture and traditions. Nepal has great potential for tourism because of its natural resources and cultural diversity. We Nepalese people have to protect our nature, culture and country to increase international tourism.
