In a city named Resante, there lived the family of Jacksons. There were Mr. Jackson, Mrs. Jackson, and little boy Harry. They were a happy and a small family. But one day because of some financial problems, they had to move to another place. As they did not have much money, they bought a small house in a city near Resante. The house was too old.

The Jacksons did not know the history of the house. There lived an old couple long before. A greedy rich man wanted their house to be his. But the couple won’t give him their house at any cost.  So, the greedy man thought he did not have any choice and he killed the couple. The very next day, news came into the newspaper that the rich man was killed. Nobody ever came to know how the incident took place. The saint of the city said that the couple's soul is there in this house. They both haunt the house. So, nobody should go to live in that house. But the government did not believe that story. They told the news and sold it to a man living near the haunted house. Then the man also died after one month when he tried to enter the house to check what the creepy sound coming from there was.

The Jacksons weren’t aware of this. When they spent the first day there, Harry noticed that the house was totally scary. Harry saw an old man smiling in his reflection in the mirror in the bathroom. Then when he was playing, he saw a creepy shadow over his toys. He tried to convince his parents that the house was haunted and what things he saw. But his parents did not believe him. They thought that it was the play of light that caused illusion. Harry was really scared. He now wanted to be away from home most of the time. Once to not go back home from school, he did not do any homework. So, he stayed in detention for a week. Mrs. Jackson also saw some kinds of things that made her have goosebumps. She saw an old couple sleeping on her bed. But both of them did not have a hand and their eyes were full of blood that looked like they were crying. When Mrs. Jackson came near the bed, there was nothing. Only Mr. Jackson did not see anything creepy or scary in the house. One day when Mrs. Jackson was helping Harry with his homework, light suddenly started blinking and BOOM!! All the bulbs blasted at the same time. Harry and his mom were scared. Just then, they saw a light coming from the bedroom. Mrs. Jackson started walking towards the bedroom, leaving Harry alone telling him that she would be back soon. When she stepped inside the bedroom, the curtains started to blow even when the window was closed. Just then, the door banged and was locked with a loud bang. Mrs. Jackson started punching on the door shouting Harry’s name. On the other side, Harry felt a hand on his back. When he turned back trembling, he saw an ugly old woman holding a candle and suddenly blew the candle. Mrs. Jackson heard a loud scream from Harry. Just then, from behind, she felt a bang on her head. Her head started hurting and spinning. Suddenly, she fell down. She saw a shadow with a baseball bat. Somebody started dragging her away and she closed her eyes, breathing heavily. But she was not dead. When Mr. Jackson returned home from work, he did not find Mrs. Jackson or Harry. He started looking for them and shouting their name. Even after a long period of searching, he was not successful. Mr. Jackson ran to the nearby police station and informed all the things that happened. The police gave this case to a pair of people. One was a paranormal investigator and was one of the famous detectives of the country.
