Saraswati puja is a famous festival of Hindus . It is celebrated every year on Magh Shukla Panchami and it is also called Basanta panchami . It is mainly a festival of students but all people celebrate it to show their devotion towards goddess Saraswati. Saraswatimata is goddess of wisdom , wealth , learning and music . She is also called Vidyadayini and Hanshavahini . On this day we wear clean clothes and offer prayers to Saraswati -mata with yellow flowers . The favorite musical instrument of goddess Samswati is Veena.People sing Saraswati Vandhana and chant the different names of goddess Saraswati .We celebrate Sarawati puja with great joy and happiness.
