Holi

Holi is a graceful festival celebrated by the Hindu religion. This festival is all about colors or when life is full of brightness and colors. In Nepali, Holi is called Falgu Purnima. We celebrate Holi in March. We can find a lot of Holi T-shirts while we celebrate Holi. People celebrate this festival by rubbing/putting bunches of colors on each other's faces, wishing each other HAPPY HOLI!!! or HAPPY FALGU PURNIMA!!!, praying (in the Tarai regions), making each other wet by water guns (mostly done by kids nowadays), and lastly throwing water balloons at each other (mostly done by kids nowadays). During Holi, we should be careful while rubbing colors on each other's faces because the colors can go into their eyes or eyelids. We should not throw water balloons at each other because people might get hurt or annoyed by those actions. This festival is not about throwing a bunch of random balloons filled with water on people's faces, heads, or any other organs. It is about celebrating and being thankful that colors exist. So, this is why we put bunches of colors on each other's faces. Holi is one of my favorite festivals, and I have good memories during this festival.
