My Country, Nepal

Nepal is one of the most beautiful countries in East South Asia, situated between China and India. The capital city of our country is Kathmandu. Millions of people live in Nepal. They also speak many languages, but Nepali is considered the national language. Mount Everest, the highest mountain in the world, is located in Nepal.

Thousands of visitors arrive in Nepal every year to see the mountains and to get a feel for the natural environment. Besides that, many rivers, hills, forests, and wild animals and birds are found in Nepal. Nepal does not have a rectangular flag.

It is the only country whose flag consists of two triangles. Besides the flag, Nepal is very famous for its culture and traditional festivals. The two biggest festivals are Dashain and Tihar. The people of Nepal are very nice, welcoming, and helpful to others.

Many people in Nepal work in the fields, growing crops like rice, corn, and wheat. In a way, Nepal is a quiet, very beautiful, and very peaceful country. If I had to describe the essence of Nepal, it would be that the land of Nepal is beautiful and the people have kind hearts. Although Nepal is a small country, it is very special and full of wonders.
