Our country, Nepal, is rich in many cultures and religions. We celebrate many festivals, and among them, Teej is one of the important ones. This festival generally falls in Bhadra. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. The Teej festival is very important for both married and unmarried people.

This year, I celebrated Teej on Bhadra 3. On that day, we observed a fast in the name of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. I wore a beautiful dress, put on makeup, and went to the Shiva temple with my mother, grandmother, and other family members. We worshipped Lord Shiva and danced to different Teej songs before returning home. I enjoyed it a lot and felt very happy. It was a special day for me.
