Thoughts

Have you ever thought about yourself? People have a lot of thoughts. Some have thoughts about life, career or many more. But have you ever tried to understand a teenager's thoughts once? Teenage is a very sensitive and critical stage of human life. Teenagers have a lot of thoughts in their mind. They are always full of thought and emotions. Even if they look fine and happy from outside, you never know what’s happening inside. They may look cheerful and happy but nobody knows the pain behind their eyes and fake smiles.

You may think or say, “Why is she over-reacting?” It’s wrong to think so. Peer-pressure, academic pressure, stress, unwanted but unavoidable anxiety, loneliness, bullying etc are the major elements that bother us. Many times, we try to share these things with our seniors but unfortunately we are mistaken and regarded as a sensitive and lost child and we just get a big lecture. They remind us to focus on our studies and get good grades. Isn’t it ok to be sensitive? Isn’t it ok to be serious and emotional in these teenage years?

And when we stay quiet or talk less, it creates a big problem. We are misjudged as less interactive. No one realises what we are going through. We just want somebody to understand our emotions, feelings and problems.
