An Educational Visit to the Planetarium and Science Museum

On 28th May, our class went for a field visit to the BP Koirala Planetarium, Observatory and Science Museum located at Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur. We travelled by our school bus with our teachers and Sister. After having lunch, we packed our bags with water bottles, snacks brought from home, and other necessary items.

I was very excited for our field trip because it was the first trip in Grade 3. I think we departed at around 10 o’clock. During the visit, we observed different scientific models, space-related information, and exhibits about science and technology. We learned about planets, stars, the solar system, and many scientific inventions.

One special thing we observed was the gifts given by China to our country, which were also displayed in the museum. We also shared snacks with our friends on the museum grounds.

The field visit was very interesting and informative. We enjoyed watching different science displays and learning new things about space and science. We arrived back at school at 3 o’clock. After returning, we rested for a while and had our school snacks.

I was tired but felt happy because the visit increased our curiosity and knowledge. Overall, the field visit was enjoyable, educational, and memorable.
