In my opinion no, students should not have less homework. We are students. Going to school is a part of our student life. Doing homework is also a part of our student life. SOme students feel that they get too much homework and they want to minimize it because they want to spend their time watching videos or playing online games. It may sound really good to reduce homework but homeworks is really important.

We go to school everyday to learn something new. But we cannot learn something completely just by reading in school. Doing homework gives us a chance to revise the content taught in class. For example if we learn how to solve a problem during our maths class we must practice it on our own to understand it. Homeworks provides us extra time to help us understand the topic.

Most of the time we forget the learned things quickly. To prevent it we must review the things that we learned. Homeworks helps us to remember the things that we learned. We can take an example of athletes. They do different types of exercises or athletic activities everyday to bring improvement in their body. Just like that, we all must do homework to be better in studies. Homework is an exercise to the brain. The more we do it the stronger it gets. Homework also teaches us to be punctual. We do the given assignments and submit them on time. It builds a habit of doing the work in time. We learn to do the right things from homeworks. It also helps build good habits for the future. While doing homeworks we learn to manage our time, do the correct work and meet deadlines. Giving exams and tests are also a part of school life. Doing homeworks is also a way of preparing for exams. We review the learned things. Doing homeworks regularly helps us to get good marks in exams and to get a chance to follow our dreams. We can see that the world is slowly getting dependent on technology. Nowadays getting a good job requires a smart and hard working person. Homeworks makes a person smart and hardworking. It helps us to think more, solve our problems on our own and to never give up even on the most difficult tasks. Parents pay money to the schools to get their children educated. Most of them worry about the subject matter that is being taught in class. Homeworks gives them a chance to see what is being taught to their children. This also increases family time. If less homework is provided to students, their parents may not know about what is being taught in school or if their children need help with anything. Most of the students think that homework is boring and takes too long. That may be true sometimes but good teachers always give the homework that is effective and interesting. We feel really proud of ourselves after completing the homeworks. It builds confidence in ourselves. Getting less homework means missing those moments where we get proud of ourselves. Most people believe that students should get less homework because they get time to rest. Even though resting is really important, getting less homework can be dangerous. Most of the students misuse their free time if they get less assignments to do.

In conclusion, students should not have less homeworks. Homeworks helps to learn things properly, prepare for exams, and to learn important life skills like being responsible and time management. It also gives our parents a chance to help in the things we need. So, students should not get less homework.
