We celebrate National Science Day on the 16th of September 2024 this year. Science Day is a special time when we get to explore and learn about the world around us. It is a big, exciting adventure where we discover new things, just like brave explorers.

On Science Day, we perform fun activities like making bubbles, playing with magnets, or looking at tiny things with a magnifying glass. Each activity helps us to understand how different things work. For example, when you blow bubbles, you see them float and shine because of the special light that bounces off them.

We can also learn about plants and animals. We could plant seeds and watch them grow into beautiful flowers or vegetables. By observing how plants need sunlight, water, and soil to grow, you learn how nature works.

Another fun part of Science Day is exploring the sky. We can look at the stars and moon and learn about them. The moon changes shape. Some stars are big, and some are far away. I have learned a lot of exciting things in science. My favourite part of science is learning about space and planets. Because I can learn about the biggest planet, the smallest planet, how far the sun is from the earth, how much earth can fit inside a Jupiter, etc.
