Plot

The main characters of the story are Peter and Mary. They were smart kids born in a poor village. But they dreamt of becoming rich one day and wanted their mother to be cured. Lady Rozabel is the richest in fairy land and she lived with her daughter Fenella and her husband Lord Rolland. Fanella was friends with Peter and Mary.

Now, one day Fenella lost her favorite ball. The three children hunted for it but they could not find it. “What’s the matter with the little lady?” asked in a shrilled voice in a sudden. It was a small gnome. Cleverly the gnome tells the children to wait and takes away the little princess. The twins waited a lot but they didn’t come back, they knew that they never would. So, when Princess Fenella disappeared, Peter and Mary must rescue her.

Their search took them from the top of the Magic Faraway Tree (in the Land of Sillies), through Giant land and the Land of Storytellers to the cave of the Goblin Dog. They returned with her and the Goblin Dog. They become friends and Lord Rolland gifted them a castle and also built a new home inside the royal castle for the Goblin Dog.
