Mt Everest touches the sky

The top is unseen, covered with clouds

Sherpas feel like it’s their house

The temperatures are low

Where plants can't even grow

Many stories are still untold

Also known as the top of the world

Only snow, it’s so white

Still, its beauty looks so nice

Snow everywhere, it’s so white

For our country, it’s our pride

It’s very hard to reach the peak

Strong minds chase what others seek

Mt Everest is very, very high
