Dhan Ropai

Last Friday, I celebrated Dhan Ropai with my school. I packed an extra set of clothes and slippers because we were going to a muddy field. We traveled there by bus.

At first, I was scared because I saw earthworms and spiders. Everyone was shouting with excitement. We had lots of fun jumping, running, and walking in the mud. Then I started planting rice seedlings. Later, my friends and I went to another part of the field. There were many earthworms, and I got scared again!

After planting rice, we went to a small river to wash our hands and legs. Then we changed into our clean clothes at a nearby temple. After that, we ate our snacks and got back on the bus. My friends and I were tired, so we slept on the way back.

When we reached school, we collected our things and went home. I told my mom all about my fun and exciting day. It was a wonderful experience, and I will always remember my first Dhan Ropai.
