The Little House and Its Friends

Once upon a time, there was a small house with a beautiful garden. No one lived there. The house was painted green and yellow.

One day, a small green parrot came near the house and said, “What a beautiful house!” He looked here and there, but there was no one. Suddenly, the door opened by itself and said, “Come in. You can live here.”

The parrot went inside and made a small nest. After a few days, a red rabbit came and asked, “Can I stay here?” The house said, “Yes, you can.”

Soon, one by one, a cat, a dog, and a monkey came. All of them stayed happily in the house. Now the house was not alone anymore. They lived together happily, playing, teasing, and helping each other.

The small house became one of the happiest houses in the world because it was filled with friends.

A house is not only made of stone, sand, and roads. A house becomes a home when it is filled with family and people who sit together, eat together, respect each other, and share love.
