Hello, everyone! My name is Avaneesh Niraula, and I study at Deerwalk Pokhara School. I am in Grade 6, Section Kabru. My first day of school was on 2083/01/15 B.S., or January 28, 2026 A.D. I was both nervous and excited about starting my new school at DPS.

I woke up very early that morning and immediately got ready for school. Once my school van arrived, I got inside and began my journey to school. When I arrived, my first impression of the school was, “Wow! This school is so peaceful!” I was amazed to see so many trees, plants, fruits, and vegetables around the school. The environment looked beautiful and calm.

After finding my classroom, I chose to sit next to a boy named Samip. We started talking to each other, and before long, we became good friends. Soon, our class teacher, Aashma Ma’am, introduced herself to us. Then, each of us introduced ourselves to the class. Everyone seemed friendly, and I gradually started feeling more comfortable.

The time passed very quickly, and suddenly, it was lunchtime. After having lunch, I started playing futsal with my friends and classmates. We had a lot of fun playing together. After a while, Aashma Ma’am told us about our class schedule. We became very excited when we found out that we had a games period that day. It meant that we could choose and play any game.

Finally, the games period came to an end, and we all rushed to eat our snacks. That day, we had chapati and dal. After eating our snacks, we returned to the classroom and played a few more games in our rough copies. We laughed and enjoyed our time together.

Finally, after what felt like a long and exciting day, school was over, and everyone went home. When I reached home, I excitedly told my parents about everything that had happened at school. I told them about my new friends, my teacher, the games we played, and the delicious snacks we had.

My first day at Deerwalk Pokhara School was a wonderful experience. Although I was nervous at first, I soon felt happy and comfortable. I made a new friend, met my teacher and classmates, and enjoyed many fun activities. It was a day filled with excitement, new experiences, and happy memories that I will always remember.
