My father is my guiding star

He supports me from near and far

He works hard every day

And shows me the right way

His love is strong and true

He always cares for me too

I am lucky to have him in my life

My father makes my world bright

He holds my hand when I feel low

and helps me learn and helps me grow

He works hard both day and night

And teaches me to do what's right.

His caring heart is warm and true

Dear father I will always love you

He gives me courage hope and cheer

He stays beside me year by year

No matter where my dreams may go

His love will always help me grow
