FIDE Master
FIDE Master
I love playing chess, and my biggest dream is to become a FIDE Master (FM). To reach this goal, I must work very hard and learn properly. Chess helps make my brain stronger and helps me make better decisions. That’s why I play and keep learning new things every day.
There are 3 FIDE Masters in Nepal:
· Rupesh Jaiswal
· Billam Lal Shrestha
· Manish Hamal
I want to be like them. So, I practice regularly on LiChess and Chess.com.
My current LiChess ratings are:
· Rapid: 620
· Bullet: 453
· Blitz: 712
To become an FM, I need more than 2300 ELO. I am inspired by Super Grandmaster Gukesh Dommaraju from India. He is only 19 years old, and his Classic ELO rating is 2776.
In 2024, new FMs were added in Nepal, including Sujana Lohani.
Today, there are around 8,829 FIDE Masters in the world.
Becoming an FM gives many benefits:
· It brings honor and respect.
· You are respected all over the world.
· Our name is always listed in FIDE records.
· You can also earn money.
. It sharpens our brain.
. We don’t get physical injuries.
