My Experience at FMUN (Fishtail Model United Nations)

FMUN was honestly one of the most memorable events I have ever been to. There were so many activities conducted at the same time. They were from committee sessions and speeches to concerts, food stalls and fun activities. It was a good mixture of learning and having fun with friends.

During FMUN, we had to represent different countries and take part in committee sessions. We did things like the GSL (General Speakers List), where we gave speeches about the topic and talked about what our country thought about it. We also had debates and discussions with other delegates. Sometimes it was a little scary to speak in front of everyone, but after doing it a few times, it became easier.

We also had to do research about our country and the topic before the conference. This helped us understand more about different countries and the problems they face. I also learned how to speak in front of a crowd, give my opinions and work with other people.

But FMUN wasn’t just about sitting in a committee all day. There were lots of fun things to do too. We had concerts and different activities, which made the event much more exciting. The masquerade ball was also really fun because everyone got to dress up and enjoy the music with their friends.

There were also food stalls with different types of food and snacks. During the breaks, everyone would go to the stalls, get something to eat and just hang out with their friends. It was probably one of the best parts of the breaks.

Overall, FMUN was a really fun and new experience for me. I got to learn about different countries, improve my speaking skills, meet new people and have fun at the same time. I definitely made a lot of good memories from FMUN. I can never forget this event because it led me from innocence to experience.
