MY FAVOURITE BOOK

My favourite book is Harry Potter. It is a novel. The writer of this book is J.K. Rowling. There are 7 series like Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, Harry Potter and Goblet of Fire, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban etc. HARRY is the main hero of this novel. There are many characters like Professor Mc Gonagall, Hagrid’s, Dumbledor, Snape, Pomonal etc. This is the most selling book in the world.

This novel talks about magic, power and Witchcraft and Wizardry. The series took another ten years to complete. Harry was only a baby when Lord Voldemort murdered his parents in an attempt to kill him. The curse aimed at Harry rebounded, destroying Voldemort in the process, but leaving Harry with a lightning-shaped scar on his forehead as a permanent reminder of that fateful night. Harry was raised by his cruel aunt and uncle, the Dursleys. He was born with his magical heritage. The Dursleys mistreated Harry, keeping him locked away in a cupboard under the stairs and telling him nothing of his parents’ true identity. At age 11, Harry’s life changed forever when he got an invitation to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This was the beginning of a new chapter in his life. At Hogwarts Harry not only discovered his wizarding abilities but also his role in the larger battle between good and evil.
